In the 7 years since FROST was set up it has contributed over £50,000 towards the cost of projects for the Church, including the re-shingling of the Church spire in 2005, the refurbishment of the organ and the installation of the new window in 2009, together with less glamorous, but nevertheless important, works involving the oil storage tank, guttering, electrical re-wiring, wall repairs etc.
The most important project in 2009 was the new window, which was commissioned from one of the UK's most prestigious stained glass artists, Helen Whittaker.
To record the works undertaken with the assistance of FROST and the names of Friends, donors, trustees and others, a beautiful manuscript book entitled The Chronicle is on display in a new oak cabinet in the Church. It will be updated each year.
In 2011, part of the roof was re-tiled and a new flagpole erected. (Jim Bacon originated the idea and also contributed.)
In 2012, we are planning to replace the heating system, possibly using ground source heating, and re-decorating the interior of the Church. Both of these will be very expensive.
