All
ancient buildings need regular, careful and sympathetic attention to ensure
their preservation.
The
fact that the church of St Thomas has stood the test of time so well says
much for the generosity and care of earlier generations who have enabled
us to continue to enjoy the charm and tranquillity of this beautiful building.
Friends
are not necessarily regular worshippers. The Charity is independent both
of the Church of England and local parish administration.
